D-MAD – Dads Making A Difference
Calling all dads (male role models, uncles, grandpas, etc.) who want to make a difference in our children's lives at Greenacres Elementary!!!!
Research shows that men who are involved in a child's life have a direct impact in their academics and personal life. Thus, children enjoy school and perform better both in and out of school on a regular basis.
We Want You!
- Volunteer to serve at least one day per quarter (3 times yearly) in a variety of school activities. We, as dads, will determine the activities throughout the year that we want to offer and volunteer for. We will work closely with the school principal and PTSA.
- Attend the D-MAD meetings once a month for one hour to brainstorm new ideas and outline a game plan for upcoming events.
- Provide a positive influence to all children as an active male role model in the school environment while volunteering.
- Show D-MAD pride by wearing a D-MAD t-shirt or polo shirt during all volunteer shifts so you are easily recognized as a D-MAD Dad.

For the safety of our children, all D-MAD members will be required to complete a background check.
